Op Shop

Opening hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9.00am – 12.00pm

A very successful and well-regarded Op Shop operates from the church premises. It is run entirely by an amazing group of over 40 dedicated volunteers who generously devote their time and effort to help make a difference to the everyday lives of people.

It delivers a valuable service that offers low-cost commodities, brings the wider community together and provides a friendly place for those seeking social interaction. It also supports an extensive range of other charities and organisations through the onforwarding of donated items. From the income generated we are able to financially assist a range of community initiatives.

Marty’s Cafe

Opening hours: Thursday 9.30am – 11.00am

Operating at the rear of the church premises, Marty’s Café is a weekly community drop-in centre where a dedicated group provide free barista coffee, morning tea and conversation to anyone wanting friendly social interaction. Donated bread and shared produce is also made freely available.

Craft and Chat

Meeting time: Second Saturday of each month at 10.00am – 11.30am

A chance to pause, catch your breath enjoy the camaraderie, creativity and cuppa. We meet in the community drop-in centre at the rear of the church premises.

Yarning Circle

Meeting time: Third Friday of each month at 10.00am – 11.30am

This is a joint initiative of the St Martin’s Foothills and Kalamunda Uniting Churches. It is an open and informal meeting of like-minded people who are seeking to explore practical ways of developing closer relationships with First Nations people. This involves continuing to develop our personal understanding of history and its influence on our future together.
